Wedding Party

Something that I had been looking forward to since Nick proposed was choosing our wedding party. We had decided that this was a decision that needed to be made together, as a couple. One day we sat down together, I got out a notebook, and we made a list of all of our closest friends and relatives. On one side were the girls, and the other side were the boys. Nick was first; he was to decide who he wanted as his best man and one by one he went down the line choosing his groomsmen. Days before this we had decided that we wanted 6 bridesmaids and groomsmen so aside from his best man he chose 5 relatives/friends to be groomsmen. I was next; I already knew my sister was going to be my maid of honor so I then chose 5 additional friends to be my bridesmaids. What I thought would be easy decisions ended up having difficulties. We each wanted to include those people who we thought would stick by our sides through the long haul. The decision was not all made in one night; in fact it took a few weeks to say that it was set in stone.

After seeing a cute project idea on Pinterest I decided to invite the people that we chose to be in our wedding party, first bridesmaids, and then the groomsmen.  For the men I made the following wedding party invites:

For the women I made the following wedding party invites:

This is a cute way to invite those people who mean a lot to you in your life to be a part of your big day. It’s also a cute keepsake for your wedding party!
